This initiative was launched after a workshop with stakeholders, primarily European and national CLP authorities, in September 2009, on possible ways of fulfilling the new CLP requirements (see workshop proceedings).

In 2011 and in 2012 respectively, A.I.S.E., in conjunction with National Associations, shared the first and second edition of its stakeholder briefing document with Member States experts to provide an update on developments since the September 2009 Workshop and organised information exchange with them.
